P. Janos LUKACS S.J, the Hungarian Provincial’s message to the Hungarian Jesuit Association (Mission)

1. preserve:

be the signs of the Jesuit traditions and education. Outline those identities in a Jesuit student which can  join you all tohether, name the values in Jesuit institutions which you could see and experience yourselves and which you consider worthwhile to come true. Promote the efforts in JIDE members to reach the magis and living for others.

2. connect:

be the bridge between the Jesuit Order, their institutions and their alumnis, encourage the lively connection between them. Transmit the expectations of society and the needs of people to the Jesuit Order, making it easier for us to find those aspects where we are really wanted to be in service.

3. help:

Attentively support Jesuit students and give a hand in making them consciously and forever Jesuit alumnis. Be at each others service. Let you become the most essential supporters of  Jesuit institutions in which you were educated one day.

4. continue:

be at the service of the Jesuit Order in the dialogue with society. Search for forms of cooperation with other religios student organisations, take part in  the international alumni movement. Speak to the different layers of Hungarian society by the means of your programs and through your members, to spread the  gospel among them. 

5. justice

be at the service of the Jesuit Order in reducing social injustice both with your mental abilities, financial aids or social connections. Be involved in creating a Hungarian Jesuit Volunteering Society for help. 

6. renewal

recognise the times, the challenges of our changing days, and renew in your mission continuously. Reveal retreats as the modern resources of the Saint Ignatian way, not only for yourselves but for others too.
